It’s no secret that the team at Northgate Animal Hospital is dedicated to your companion’s health. We’re so excited to announce and introduce you to our two newest team members, Lauren and Emily!

Lauren is our new Veterinary Technician! She is originally from Southwest Florida but has relocated to Colorado to accompany her husband in his military career. Lauren has an Associate’s Degree in Resort & Hospitality Management but found her calling in the animal industry after receiving a certification in basic dog obedience in 2013. She then chose to enter the veterinary field in 2014 to expand her knowledge.

Lauren has always been passionate about animals and feels blessed for the opportunities she has been given to grow in this field.

When she’s not working, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs Koda, Duke, Graham and their kitty Aria. She also loves photography, hiking, traveling and exploring Colorado!

Emily is our new Veterinary Assistant! She is new to the Colorado Springs area, moving from Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She has always had a passion for animals and a growing interest in Veterinary Medicine. Privileged with a learning opportunity at Northgate Animal Hospital, she jumped right into the field of veterinary medicine.

Currently, she is pursuing an Associates of Science degree, later on down the line in hopes to gain a degree in Biology. Working at the Animal Hospital has given her some of the benefits of expanding her knowledge of science.

Emily loves to spend time with friends and family including her two dogs, Nina and Poncho. Creating bonds with new people, trying new and different food cuisines and checking out little shops around the downtown area are some of the things she enjoys to do. Some of the hobbies that take up her free time include hiking, camping, meditative yoga, and painting.
