When you have an overweight cat, and a healthy weight cat, this is one way to make separate feeding time a little easier if meal feeding is not possible.

1. You need a box or plastic bin.

2. Cut a narrow opening big enough for the smaller cat to fit in, but not the bigger cat.

3. Now you can feed your smaller cat with out any worries of your bigger cat getting extra food.

4. Meal feed your overweight cat according to the amount discussed with you veterinarian. It is helpful to divide the day’s amount into multiple meals. i.e. 2-4 meals throughout the day.
